I guess the Giants got tired of leaving so many runners on base. The solution? Don't put runners on base! The Giants wasted another excellent start by a member of the best starting rotation in baseball on a single unearned run by the crosstown rival Oakland A's. Key Lines:
Matt Cain- 8 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 2.88.
That's it! That's all you need to know about the game and about the Giants. Great, great starting pitching, possibly the best in baseball. Horrible hitting, possibly the worst in all of baseball. This will take some digging deep to get past.
