AAA  Sacramento River Cats scored 4 runs in the top of the 16'th inning to take a 6-2 lead over the Fresno Grizzlies and held on for a 6-3 win:

Brock Bond(3B)- 2 for 5, 2 BB.  BA= .333.
Skyler Stromsmoe(CF)- 2 for 6, BB.  BA= .262.
Yusmeiro Petit(RHP)- 6.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 3.18.
Clayton Tanner(LHP)- 3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 0.00.
Merkin Valdez(RHP, River Cats)- 2.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 2.50.

Is it crazy to think Brock Bond could help a MLB team?  Petit?  Clayton Tanner has a successful first game in his return to the Giants organization.  Remember when Valdez was a hot prospect?  He's 30 yo now.

AA  Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Reading Phillies 6-1:

Gary Brown(CF)- 2 for 5, 2B.  BA= .276.
Russell Mitchell(LF)- 2 for 4, 2B, HR(1), BB.  BA= .277.
Joel Weeks(C)- 3 for 3, 2B, BB.  2 BA= .239.
Justin Fitzgerald(RHP)- 8 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 6 K's.  ERA= 4.19.
Brett Bochy(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 1.40.

Brown stays hot.  Mitchell is a RH bat with some MLB experience and some pop.  Just saying.  Weeks seems to be a jack-of-all-trades.

Ranch Cucamonga Quakes out hit the San Jose Giants 11-10:

Aubrey Huff(DH)- 1 for 3, HR(1).  BA= .250.
Adam Duvall(3B)- 2 for 5, 3B.  BA= .262.

Low A  Asheville Tourists beat the Augusta Greenjackets 4-2:

Brett Krill(RF)- 3 for 3, HBP.  BA= .256.

Krill was on base 4 times, yet did not figure in the scoring.  Hmm....where have we seen that before?

Short Season  Eugene Emeralds topped the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 3-1:

Rafael Rodriguez(DH)- 1 for 3, SB(4).  BA= .264.

Rookie AZL  Cubs mauled the Giants 11-1:

Giants managed just 2 hits.  As you can see by the score, the pitching was bad.

DSL  D'Backs/Reds edged the Giants 4-3:
