Cartegena got a 6 figure bonus last year but struggled at the plate in 2011. He's someone to keep an eye on.

It's nice to see all these power arms in the minors even if most project as short relievers. Between Josh Osich, Ian Gardeck, Cody Hall, Bryce Bandilla, Stephen Johnson, Steven Okert, and Derek Law we should have no shortage of power relievers to chose from.
The Giants are finding players they like in Oklahoma: Blackburn from the high school ranks and Buechele & Okert from College... We'll see if Buechele can follow in his fathers footsteps.. Gardeck might have nasty stuff.. He has 13 K's in 6 IP this season.! A pitcher to keep an eye on..
