  1. Look at Alex Burg, quietly leading the SJ regulars with a 815 OPS. Contact rates are not up to snuff in SJ right now: Burg at 78%, Ricky O at 70%, Susac at 70.5%, Parker at 59% (not a typo), Chris Lofton at 71%, and Joe Panik cheering it up with a stellar 88.5% contact rate.

Panik with a 372/429/419 line in the past 10 games. Nice.

Walk rates are pretty good. Raw #s: Burg with 26/232 ABs, Ricky O with 45/393 ABs, Susac with 44/271 ABs, Parker with 53/305 ABs, Lofton with 30/281 ABs and Panik with a stellar 48/419 ABs.

Hope SJ continues to warm up.

  2. Interesting to see Johnson start and Stratton relief. Anything to see there, or just inning control on Stratton?

    2. Johnson with nice peripherals in the start. I wonder if he may push himself into a starter role...

    3. Just making sure we are not confusing Chris Johnson with Steven Johnson here?
