ReplyDeleteI know, right?, why not move up Blackburn? But the Giants seem to like to keep guys at the level he is at for his first full pro season, it seems.
Oh no, but not too unexpected: Surkamp getting TJS and given the year recovery period and slow return of velocity, he's essentially out until the 2014 season. Your thought of picking up Zito's option, DrB, is looking better and better.

How about pitchers? I really don't see any on the 40 worth calling up...
I don't think we'll see too many callups. Pegs if he's healthy, Roger K if he's healthy. Gillaspie, Culby, Runzler. The only guy I see being added to the 40 man is possibly Petit.
