ReplyDeleteI think Gary Brown is probably ahead of Juan Perez at this point.. Although Perez aounds like an excellent defensive outfielder, ranked #24 in Giant system by BA, he has two things working against him: his age (25 years old) and his bat .269 career BA.. The interesting thing is he changed his swing so he can hit for a higher average and he's putting together a nice year at AA batting .285 with 10 hrs. It wouldn't surprise me if he's added to the 40 man roster in 2013.. I think he could be a sleeper for a reserve OF spot in 2013..
