  1. Who the heck is Dominic Mazza? Quite a game, incredible peripherals! I can't remember ever even noticing his name before....

I think an excellent introduction to AA for Coonrod, now he knows his stuff can play, fine place to build from. He seems to have a lot of room for continued progress & growth, even with his very fine season.

    1. Mazza was a 22 round pick out of UCSB in 2015. I liked him before the draft and view him as a legitimate prospect/sleeper in the system, but gotta remember he's a polished college pitcher in Low A ball.

  2. Hard to say with DSL, but this Genoves guy might be our best hitting IFA prospect since... I won't say it yet.

    1. Very early returns from the DSL. Genoves got the big bonus so he has some pedigree. Like to see those guys get off to fast starts. Almanzer and Munguia are looking good too. Seems to be down year for pitching in the DSL.
