AAA El Paso Chihuahuas blanked the Sacramento River Cats 3-0:

Angel Pagan LF- 1 for 3.  BA= .333.
Chris Heston RHP- 6 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 5 K's, GO/AO= 7/2.  ERA= 3.99.

Pagan starts his rehab assignment.

AA Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Portland Sea Dogs 4-1:

Ryder Jones 3B- 2 for 5.  BA= .256.
Hunter Cole RF- 2 for 3, 2B, HR(5).  BA= .250.
Adalberto Mejia LHP- 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K's, GO/AO= 11/1.  ERA= 1.94.

Mejia is dominating AA.  Might be getting close to time for the challenge of AAA?

Ronnie Jebavy CF- 2 for 5, SB(7).  BA= .244.
CJ Hinojosa SS- 2 for 2, 2B, BB, Sac.  BA= .330.
Cristian Paulino 3B- 2 for 4, HR(2).  BA= .220.

Apparently neither Viz Jr nor Arenado were available to play 3B?

Dominic Mazza LHP- 4.1 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 4.15.
Tyler Cyr RHP- 3.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K's.  ERA= 2.22.
Caleb Smith RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, Save(6).  ERA= 2.84.

Cyr has been dominant out of the pen for Augusta and in multiple innings per appearance.

Jose Rivero PH-SS(18 yo)- 2 for 2, BB.  BA= .250.
Jerson Severin RHP(17 yo, 6'4", 180 lb)- 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 2.45.

  1. I should think Mejia is ready to move up. He had a 2.45 ERA last year and is doing even better this year.

    Also glad to see Pagan in rehab. The change to LF has helped him defensively and we could use his bat.

    I was wondering if that concussion problem was going to sideline him permanently. Glad to see that he made it.
