Charlie Culberson(2B)- 2 for 5. 3B. BA= .285.
Brock Bond(3B)- 2 for 4. BA= .387.
Dan Otero(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K. ERA= 4.05.
Maybe Peggy is heating up for real this time. Man, if it weren't for Blanco on the active roster already, I'd be yelling for a Justin Christian call up!
AA Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Bowie Baysox 6-1:
Gary Brown(CF)- 2 for 3, BB, SB(9). BA= .242.
Ryan Cavan(2B)- 2 for 4. BA= .267.
Chris Dominguez(LF)- 1 for 4, HR(2). BA= .258.
Chris Heston(RHP)- 7 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 0.84.
Dominguez' dinger was with the bases juiced.
High A San Jose Giants topped the Visalia Rawhide 5-2:
Joe Panik(SS)- 1 for 4, 2B. BA= .246.
Ryan Lollis(RF)- 2 for 4, HR(1). BA= .316.
Adam Duvall(3B)- 2 for 3, 2 2B, SF. BA= .202.
Jack Snodgrass(LHP)- 6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 4 K's, GO/AO= 11/1. ERA= 1.54.
Hector Correia(RHP)- 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 3.52.
Low A Greenville Drive pounded the Augusta Greenjackets 11-4:
Kelby Tomlinson(SS)- 2 for 3. BA= .295.
Bryce Bandilla(LHP)- 4.2 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 10 K's, WP, Balk. ERA= 2.18.
Keith Bilodeau(RHP)- 1.2 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 2 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 11.02.
Bandilla was dominant in K's. Still a bit wild. He pitched 4 shutout innings before running into trouble in the 5'th. The Giants players development people might want to think about giving Bildodeau a break to re-think whatever he's doing, because it's not working.

Anyone know how Bond looks at 3B as compared to Conor??
ReplyDeleteNo, but I'm surprised Bond is playing there because I thought I had read that he didn't even have enough arm to play 2B, or maybe it was just a lack of range there.
