Scouting the 2017 Draft: Mountain West, WAC, Pac-12

Again, no particular order or draft round for 3 western conferences:

Mountain West:  Tough conference to gauge because the hitting numbers are so inflated by the environment.

New Mexico:

Tyler Stephens RHP.  6'0", 225 lbs.  7-6, 4.81, 97.1 IP, 27 BB, 102 K's.
Luis Gonzalez OF.  6'0", 185 lbs.  .361/.500/.589, 8 HR, 14 SB, 58 BB, 32 K.

Fresno St:

Aaron Arruda IF.  6'3", 220 lbs.  .373/.448/.643, 15 HR, 31 BB, 59 K, 244 AB.
Ricky Tyler Thomas LHP.  6'1", 185 lbs.  8-4, 4.86, 90.2 IP, 52 BB, 100 K.

WAC:

Sacramento St:

Ian Dawkins OF.  6'0", 185 lbs.  .340/.401/.439, 15 SB, 21 BB, 27 K, 262 AB.
Justin Dillon RHP(Sr).  6'3", 225 lbs.  5-8, 3.37, 112.1 IP, 26 BB, 108 K.

PAC-12:  While it is fun to look for hidden gems in lesser conferences, we have to remember that the major conferences fill up their rosters with the best HS players after MLB signings before the lesser conferences even start.  A 6'4", 220 lb middle reliever at Stanford probably has a higher ceiling than, say, a SP at Loyola Marymount with a great statistical line.

Oregon State:

KJ Harrison IF/C.  6'0", 210 lbs.  .328/.394/.490, 6 HR, 7 SB, 23 BB, 33 K, 192 AB.
Luke Hemlich, LHP.  6'1", 197 lbs.  11-1, 0.76, 118 IP, 22 BB, 128 K.
Jake Thompson RHP.  6'2", 200 lbs.  13-0, 1.30, 110.2 IP, 34 BB, 106 K.
Drew Rasmussen RHP.  6'2", 225 lbs.  3-0, 0.83, 21.2 IP, 5 BB, 22 K( So Draft Eligible.  Was hurt for much of year.  Came back strong late).
Max Engelbrecht RHP(Sr).  3-0, 0.48, 18.2 IP, 5 BB, 18 K, 5 Saves.

Stanford:

Quinn Brodey OF.  6'1", 200 lbs.  .314/.371/.556, 11 HR, 22 BB, 33 K, 239 AB.

UCLA:

Scott Burke RHP(Sr).  6'3", 197 lbs.  0-3, 2.51, 43 IP, 18 BB, 47 K.

Arizona:

JJ Matijevic IF.  6'0", 200 lbs.  .383/.436/.633, 10 HR, 9 SB, 23 BB, 38 K, 240 AB.

Washington:

Noah Bremer RHP- 6'5", 200 lbs.  6-3, 3.15, 103 IP, 36 BB, 103 K.

Oregon:

Kyle Kasser SS.  5'10", 185 lbs.  .337/.435/.408, 25 BB, 18 K, 213 AB.

Washington St:

Shane Matheny 3B.  6'1", 205 lbs.  .309/.408/.471, 28 BB, 36 K, 191 AB.
