AAA  Reno Aces outlasted the Sacramento River Cats 6-4 in 17 innings:

Jae-Gyun Hwang 1B/3B- 2 for 7, BB.  BA= .289.
Ryder Jones 3B/RF- 2 for 6, 2B, 2 BB.  BA= .287.
Joan Gregorio RHP= 5.1 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 3 BB, 7 K's.  ERA= 3.26.
Kyle Crick RHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K.  ERA= 3.04.
Dusten Knight RHP- 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 2.38.
DJ Snelton LHP- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 2.70.

-Carlos Moncrief ended up pitching the final 2 innings and it caught up with him in the second frame.
-Kyle Crick seems to be much better at bouncing back from a bad appearance this year.

Orleny Quiroz LHP- 2.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 1.80.

-Quiroz is 23 yo and this is his 3'rd DSL season.

  1. Has anyone heard anything with respect to Arroyo? He wasn't in the lineup Thursday and I was guessing it was just a day off, but he didn't play last night either. The best case scenario is he was in SF on standby had they chosen to put Panik on the DL. The worse case is obviously an injury. I sure hope it's not the latter.

    By the way, Panik's thumb injury sounds like the same thing that sidelined Tomlinson last year. Hopefully it will be just a couple days off line they say.
