AAA Salt Lake City Bees got a HR from McAnulty in the top of the 9'th and hung on to edge the Fresno Grizzlies 1-0:

Dan Runzler(LHP)- 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K's. ERA= 4.41.

Ooh, Runzler! Dominant start, albeit for just 5 innings. More of these, please!

AA Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Trenton Thunder 8-3:

Francisco Peguero(RF)- 2 for 5. BA= .273.
Roger Kieschnick(LF)- 2 for 5, 2B. BA= .266.
Sharlon Schoop(SS)- 3 for 4, HR(3). BA= .222.
Chuck Lofgren(LHP)- 6.2 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 7 K's. ERA= 0.73.
Dellin Betances(RHP, Thunder)- 5 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 3.43.

The Giants have a reputation for fixing pitchers and Lofgren seems to be coming along nicely. Formerly a highly regarded prospect. Betances is what passes for an elite prospect in Yankeeland.

High A San Jose Giants beat the Lancaster Jethawks 10-3:

Gary Brown(CF)- 2 for 4, BB. BA= .319.
Ehire Adrianza(SS)- 2 for 3, BB. BA= .284.
Tommy Joseph(DH)- 1 for 4, HR(12), BB. BA= .253.
Cavan, Burg and Anders also had 2 hits, Nick Liles(2) and Anders(9) hit HR's.

Low A Hickory Crawdads downed the Augusta Greenjackets 5-3:

Nothing to see here.

Short Season Salem-Keizer Volcanoes edged the Yakima Bears 4-3:

Panik(.329), Murray(.396), Downing(.333) and Burkhart(.272) had 2 hits each with Burkhart hitting a HR(4).

Rookie AZL Rangers clubbed the Giants 15-9:

Kelby Tomlinson(SS)- 3 for 5, 2B, 3B. BA= .312.
Jose Cuevas(3B)- 3 for 5, 2B, 3B. BA= .309.
Leonardo Fuentes(DH)- 3 for 4, 2B, BB. BA= .280.

Love what Fuentes is doing this year. Ferrer is 20 yo. He has 20 K's against just 3 BB in 15.1 IP,
