If Jose Layer can stay healthy for the rest of the season, I believe he will move WAY up in my Giants prospect rankings.  I really like his athleticism and it sure looks like he can hit.  Joey Bart brought the fireworks to Salem-Keizer with 2 dingers in his first game on being promoted from Rookie ball.  Woo! Hoo!!.

  2. Trevor Abrams -- making room?

Tyler Rogers: what does he have to do?

    Don't understand Mike Connolly either
Started year in Richmond and pitched mostly pretty well in relief
June 14 promoted to Sacramento -- pitched pretty well starting and relieving
July 3 assigned to S_K from Sacramento?

  3. Looking at Okert, he's been great other than the two games where he gave up 5 ER and 6 ER. And overall, 15.1 IP, with only 2 walks, but with 24 strikeouts, there would be clamoring for him to be up if not for those two really bad outings.

Webb has been pretty good since coming off the DL, why no love for his performance?
