AAA  Salt Lake City Bees stung the Sacramento River Cats 7-4:

Ryder Jones 3B- 2 for 4, HR(9).  BA= .301.
Derek Law RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 4.00.
Pierce Johnson RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 1.29.

After hitting .244 in April, Ryder Jones is hitting .322 since. Derek Law has a 1.64 ERA over is last 10 appearances.

Manuel Geraldo has 6 hits in his last 2 games after an 0 for 19 and 2 for 29 skid.

    Giants released LHP Matt Gage (25.5Y). Gage was a 2014 10th round pick out of Siena College. He quickly moved up to Richmond in 2015,
    mostly pitched there since with 47 starts (3.40ERA) from 2015-2018. He made 10 starts for Sacramento this year. He was a 2017 EL All-Star.


    I wonder why.

    1. Gage kind of stalled out in Richmond and got beat up both trials in AAA. He's always had marginal stuff at best with low K rates and hasn't had the same success as Ty Blach at consistently inducing weak contact. I'm not really surprised.
