In just 19 of S-K's 43 games, Joey Bart is 2nd in the NWL in HRs with 9 (leader has 11) in only half the ABs!
ReplyDeleteIf he had enough to qualify, he's be leading the NWL in OPS with 1.167 (.338/.388/.779/1.167)!
Begin to wonder why he dropped to 2nd in the draft?
Casey Mize: 1 GS, 2 IP, 1 W, 4 K (GCL)
Are you going to do to a brief blog spot on the new top 30 prospect list on sfgiants.com/mlb.com??? I would be interested to see your thoughts going up and down the list.
ReplyDeleteI posted my own Midseason Top 20 on July 19. You can find it linked to the left in the archive.
DeleteYou might also want to check out John Sickels' midseason review of his Giants Top 20 over on minorleaguball.com. I thought he sounded a bit more bullish in the Giants prospects than most analysts.
Just a couple of years ago we were all excited about Jordan Johnson and Tyler Beede...
ReplyDeleteGolly, Moses, are you the Rain Man?
DeleteLOL, in with the New, out with the Old!
The drafted part (picked by the Giants) of the 2010-2014 teams was picked over a whole decade:
Cain (2002)
Sandoval (2002), Ishikawa (2002)
Wilson (2003), Schierholz (2003)
J Sanchez (2004)
Lincecum (2005), Romo (2005)
Bumgarner (2007)
Posey (2008), Crawford (2008)
Belt (2009)
Panik (2011)
Maybe the picks since then will be for championships in 2010, 2012, & 2014.
ROFLMAO!
OOps, meant 2020, 2022, & 2024!
Deletetyler rogers could get his contract purchased now with cueto likely done for the season
ReplyDeleteSF is 20 games back in the tank race - 11 teams ahead of them for the #1 draft pick in 2019 - come on, go for it!
