-I had long since forgotten Melvin Upton Jr was in the Giants organization. This was just his second appearance of the season, the last being on July 1. And why not? Maybe we will see both him and Pablo Sandoval in the lineup before the season is over?
-Knight, Maronta and Snelton could all be part of a future Giants bullpen.

Yeah the Giants have some potential options for the bullpen waiting in Sacramento. It will be interesting see how the Giants manage this in the future. Hopefully Snelton came make the inconsistency of Osich and Okert a nonissue, and lock down the other LHP bullpen spot with a healthy Will Smith next season. Logan Webb should have "Bad to the Bone" as his intro music. It took him 9 pitches to strike out the 3 batters he faced.
ReplyDeleteGiants are taking it slow with Logan Webb coming off TJ surgery, but his numbers out of the bullpen for S-K are impressive. I am bullish on his future and hope he gets another shot at starting.

DeleteSupposedly he is throwing harder post TJ. I've read reports he's throwing 93-96 now.
