Bochy seemed overly optimistic Cueto would be back next season. Everybody's looking for a quality starter on the FA mkt and always overpays in the offseason. Evans/Sabes have done it all the time.
All it takes is one better offer. Wouldn't be surprised if he bolts.
AZ gambled on some young arms in their rotation in '17 and it worked.
Wouldn't mind seeing Stratton, the lefty Suarez and Beede up there in 2018.
I've been liking the pitching lines of Tyler Cur all season, seems to be pretty good. Do you have any scouting report on him? Does he have plus stuff or is he more nibble the corners not great stuff? Seems like the Giants have some interesting young bullpen arms coming through the system.

If Arenado has another August-like month of September, I think they might consider him on the list of Top 30 Prospects???
