I'll try to live blog the game again tonight. A couple of pregame notes:
The A's bullpen couldn't hold down the Tigers allowing 4 runs in the last 3 innings to fall in Game 2 of their series 5-4. The A's now get a chance to run the table at home to advance in the postseason.
Ryan Vogelsong was named the Game 3 starter by Bruce Bochy. I think this is the right decision. I don't think it's official but the appears that Zito will most likely be the Game 4 starter if they get that far. Timmy was reportedly running with the bullpen pitchers. I also think Zito should be the 4'th starter in the playoffs.
Nats rally for 2 runs in the top of the 8'th to defeat the Cards in Game 1 of their NLDS series.
Yankees vs Baltimore delayed by rain. Not sure how that might affect the Giants/Reds TV broadcast. Anyone out there have the scoop on that?

Jim Tracy resigns as manager of the Rockies. Don't blame him. That crazy pitching idea wasn't his, but he was a good soldier and tried to make it work.
There's a tweet on sfgiants.com saying the Giants game will be on TNT due to rain delay in Baltimore.
