 AAA:  Sacramento River Cats defeated the Sugar Land Space Cowboys 10-3.

Tyler Fitzgerald 2B- 1 for 5, HR(6).  BA= .307.
Will Wilson SS- 2 for 4, 2B, HR(11).  BA= .225.
Kyle Harrison LHP- 5 IP,  3 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 8 K's.  ERA= 3.42.
Nick Swiney LHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 3.46.
Chris Wright LHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 3.80.
Nick Avila RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, ERA= 3.48.

Harrison throws 81 pitches, so goes an extra inning on the same number of pitches.  Needs to keep doing that.

AA:  Bowie Baysox beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels 6-2.

Ryan Murphy RHP- 4 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 5.12.

A+:  Eugene Emeralds topped the Spokane Indians 8-5.

Carter Howell RF- 3 for 5, 2B, 3B.  BA= .291.
Edison Mora LF- 3 for 4, 2B, HR(3).  BA= .185.
Ghordy Santos DH- 1 for 4, HR(4).  BA= .215.
Max Wright C- 1 for 4, HR(2).  BA= .159.
Ben Madison RHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 3.62.
Hunter Dula RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 2.35.

After batting .234 in April and .086 in May, Edison Mora has a slash line of .300/.300/.415 with 3 HR in June.

A:  San Jose Giants pounded the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 11-4.

Onil Perez C- 2 for 4, SF.  BA= .316.
Matt Higgins LF- 2 for 5, 2B.  BA= .300.

The international kids continue to impress.

Elian Rayo DH(ACL)- 1 for 2, HR(2), BB.  BA= .292.  20 yo from Nicaragua 3'rd pro season.

Seth Corry LHP(ACL)- 3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 5 K's, GO/AO= 4/0.  ERA= 0.00.  Corry ramping up in rehab assignment.

  1. Harrison (80 K's) leads the PCL in K's with 16 fewer IP than #2 (71 K's).
    He would be #2 in WHIP (1.37) if he had 5 more IP to qualify.

  2. I’m really pulling for Cory. If he can get to AA this year, he’d be in line for next year at 25 years old. Add Harrison and Wisenhunt, you have 4 /5 th of your rotation very young. Gives time for others.

    Any thoughts of who next man up in the OF is? We seem to have depth everywhere else (except maybe Catcher).

    1. OF is the biggest organizational need. I'll say next man up is Rayner Arias who is 17 yo and playing in the DSL. His bat looks for real. I think he could move up like lightning maybe break in while still a teenager.
