Consensus on Farhan’s 1st round picks: instant busts with Bishop and Bednar but early enough for Bednar to turn it around while Bishop is a cooked turkey. Bailey it remains to be seen if he’s an mlb starter, we need to see how he does over a larger period of time. Half the time it seems like he can hit, the other half it seems like he can’t hit at all. Half the time it seems like he’s really good at defense with his canon arm, half the time it seems like he’s horrible at defense with his nearly league leading amount of errors. Crawford it’s concerning that he’s barely pitched, but he does look like he may be a potential asset as a hard throwing lefty who is dominating in a very small sample size this year, hopefully he doesn’t get hurt like he always seems to be. Eldridge is off to a poor start, yeah he’s young but so far it’s a poor start this year. Looked decent last year in small sample size. Obviously too early to tell. Verdict: Farhan sucks at drafting players considering he fancies himself a smart baseball mind
