A: Fresno Grizzlies defeated the San Jose Giants 3-1:
Cesar Quintas DH- 1 for 3, HR(3). BA= .207.
Dylan Carmouche LHP- 5 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 3.18.
Shane Rademacher RHP- 4 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 3.10.
Cesar Quintas has a 4 game hit streak in which he is 7 for 14 with 2 doubles and 2 HR. Good looking hitter but this is his 4'th season in the organization and first in full season ball.
ACL: Giants pounded the Angels 10-4:
Jose Ortiz CF- 1 for 3, BB. BA= .481.
Walker Martin SS- 2 for 3, 2 HR(2), BB. BA= .267.
Christian Koss 3B- 1 for 3, HR(1), BB. BA= .167.
Eliam Sandoval LF- 1 for 2, 2 BB. BA= .367.
Juan Perez C- 2 for 3. BA= .292.
Ian Villars RHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K. ERA= 4.09.
Big news here is the 2 HR's for Walker Martin. Hopefully a breakout game for him. It would be great to see him in the San Jose Giants boxscores before the end of the season.
Bishop's entire MiLB career consists of 4 seasons playing, 1 season injured, and the 2020 sitout to accumulate 171 games, 718 PA, and a slash .234/.346/.396/.742, which, really, is not bad, but less than hoped for.
ReplyDeleteSo, can his May, 11-game resurrection in Sacramento mean anything?
Too bad he has never played 1B...
What is Rayner Arias status?
DeleteNo definitive word on Arias but my understanding is he is still recovering from wrist injury. Gotta think it is at least mildly concerning to take this long.
