Doc, I know it's early in the season and probably my frustration should be tempered. But I am starting to worry about this Front office's ability to actually produce position players. The inability to have Matos or Luciano force the team's hand is really starting to worry me.
ReplyDeleteRamos and Casey Schmitt performances have been great, but I think it's clear that their ceilings are probably second division regulars at best.
But the pipeline is looking really really thin. If at least a couple more of this grouping of position players can't force the issue, I would be seriously worried for this Front Office's future. They can't sustainably keep filling the starting 9 from FA.
Though on the other hand we also cannot forget about Patrick Bailey but he is the only one to break through so far.
