Landon Roupp RHP- 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K's. ERA= 4.76.
Salt Lake City has been a tough environment for the River Cats. You have to wonder how multiple promotions to fill holes created by injuries at the MLB level impacts performance at the AAA level.

19 yo Jose Ortiz is looking like a dynamic player in the early ACL season.
Is a healthy Hunter Bishop finally emerging?
ReplyDeleteJust 21 when drafted back in 2019, he is still only 25 yo and perhaps healthy for the first time.
Of "qualified" players for Richmond, he is 1st in BA, 2nd in OBP, SLG, & OPS.
Although still striking out a lot (28 in 98 PA), he has far fewer than McCray and leads him in substantially in most categories (not in HRs).
Might be just in time...
IDK, a .258 BA even in the EL is not all that encouraging.
DeleteLOL, and he's the best there!
DeleteHe had a bunch of Oh-fers in April, but is 8-20 in May with 3 xtra-base hits.
Things are kind of dark throughout the system for hitting hopefuls, this is a glimpse of light.
AND, what if it's for reals?
No he’s not emerging. He’s a turkey. It’s likely that his brother has a more prolific mlb career than him, and that’s not a compliment
