An offensive outburst in the top of the 10'th inning prevented Madison Bumgarner's Quality Start from going to waste. Key Lines:
Brandon Belt 1B- 2 for 4, 2B, BB. BA= .249. Belt is slashing .375/.516/.625 over his last 7 games which are all on this road trip. Dude loves the road! Will Triples Alley get cut off while he is still a Giant?
Steven Vogt C- 2 for 5, 2B. BA= .268. Vogt is hitting .313 in 16 AB over his last 7 games. His double in the 10'th inning off the RF wall drove in the go ahead run plus one.
Steven Duggar CF- 2 for 5, 2B. BA= .245. Duggar is 5 for 12 over his last 4 games with 2 doubles. His double in the 10'th to keep the rally going was a hard comebacker what caromed off the pitcher's butt into no-man's land in shallow LF while the SS was rushing to field a ball he thought was coming up the middle. Got that?
Pablo Sandoval PH/3B- 2 for 3, 2B. BA= .286. Pablo singled as a PH for Bumgarner in the 7'th, stayed in the game at 3B then contributed a double to the 6-run rally in the 10'th.
Madison Bumgarner LHP- 6 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 5 K's. ERA= 4.05. Bummy has pitched at least 6 innings in his last 7 starts, 6 of which were QS. He's become more of a QS type pitcher as he allowed at least 1 run in each of them.
Bullpen- 4 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K's. Sam Dyson, Tony Watson, Mark Melancon and Derek Holland contributed 1 scoreless inning each.

After a disastrous beginning of the road trip, the Giants have now won 3 in a row. Tyler Beede tries to build on that and his own Quality Start in his last appearance tomorrow evening against Jason Vargas who got off to a rough start to the season but is coming off a Quality Start himself.
