Last year's #1 overall draft pick by the Tigers, Casey Mize, threw a pitch in the 3'rd inning that looked like it sort of floated up there, then just stood there looking in to the dugout and catcher.  The trainer and coaching staff all came out and he left the game.  TINSTAAPP.

Late word is Mize experienced shoulder soreness.

  1. Man, Mize was looking awfully impressive this year too.

  2. Gerber is on a tear, Yaz not so much. LHB for LHB. Arguably, Gerber is a better fielder. And younger. At 26 possibly near his best; Yaz @ 28 probably not.
