Not a good look for Andrew Suarez.  Steven Okert has whittled his ERA down from a peak of 6.35 on 5/9/2019.

Let me get this straight:  Jonah Arenado started the game at SS?  Okay! It actually looks like this was Jonah's 4'th start at SS this season after none before in his pro career.  I had missed that!  Conner Menez continues to post impressive strikeout rates.

Sean Hjelle RHP- 5 IP, 10 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 K's, GO/AO= 9/0.  ERA= 4.09.

Heliot Ramos!  Lots of groundball outs for Sean Hjelle but 6 of the 10 hits he allowed were line drives so pretty hard to attribute those to BABIP luck.

Peter Maris DH- 2 for 3, HR(3).  BA= .364.

Caleb Simpson RHP- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 0.00.
Frank Rubio RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K, GO/AO= 3/0, Save(6).  ERA= 0.33.

Seems like Peter Maris can hit, but he's played at AA level in past.  He's essentially rehabbing in San Jose while awaiting clearance to play in field S/P TJ surgery.  Cal League uses DH in all games while EL uses it only in AL affiliate ballparks.

Frankie Tostado was a one man offense for the GJ's.  Adam Oller was signed as a minor league FA today and immediately used as an Opener in today's game.  As my mother used to say, "you can't tell the players without a program."
