Abiatal Avelino is the latest River Cats hitter to go off on a red hot streak.  He's hitting .346 in May and .405 over his last 10 games.  I guess this is the night for fielders to protect pitchers' ERA's by committing errors?  Starts like this aren't going to get DRod back to Oracle Park anytime soon.

Tyler Cyr RHP- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 2.25.
Raffi Vizcaino RHP- 1.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 0.00.

Tyler Cyr is quietly off to a nice start to his season with 16 K's and 3 BB's in 12 IP, 9 Appearances. In 5 AA Appearances, Raffi Vizcaino has 9 K's and 2 BB in 6.1 IP.

Welcome to the Cal League, Jake Wong.  Peripherals suggest he pitched great but the ERA is ugly.  Camilo Doval has a 1.88 ERA with 21 K's and 9 BB's in 14.1 IP over his last 10 Appearances. So, despite that success, the BB's still need to come down.
