AAA Fresno Grizzlies outlasted the Sacramento River Cats 7-4 in 10 innings:
Henry Ramos RF- 3 for 5, 2B. BA= .264.
Francisco Pena C- 3 for 5, 2 2B. BA= .387.
Mike Yastrzemski PH/CF- 1 for 2, HR(9). BA= .270.
Shaun Anderson RHP- 5.1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 5 K's, GO/AO= 6/1. ERA= 4.11.
Tyler Rogers RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K. ERA= 3.50.
Williams Jerez LHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 2.12.
Fernando Abad LHP- 1 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 2.13.
Shaun Anderson had a shutout through 5 innings, then lost the strike zone and loaded the bases with 1 out in the 6'th. Steven Okert came in and gave up a grand slam HR to the first batter he faced. I have a feeling we'll see Young Yaz in SF before the season is done. Same for a return of Williams Jerez.

A+ San Jose Giants cracked the Modesto Nuts 2-0:
Orlando Garcia 3B- 1 for 4, HR(1). BA= .190.
Matt Frisbee RHP- 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K's. ERA= 5.54.
Jandel Gustave RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K. ERA= 0.00.
Frank Rubio RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's, Save(2). ERA= 0.42.
Matt Frisbee scuffled in his first two Cal League Starts, but was strong in his third. Overall he has a nice 13 K with 1 BB in 13 IP. Jandel Gustave seems like an interesting arm added to the system out of the Astros organization.

I was at the Rivercats game last night. Shaun Anderson was better than his line indicates. He was getting squeezed from the get go, and it ran his pitch count up. He should have had two or three more strikeouts, but the strike zone was all over the place, and about the size of a dinner plate.
