Sam Moll LHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 0.00.

2 more BB's for Mac who now has 9 of his 11 on the season in just his last 5 games.  I would say he got a message loud and clear.  Credit to Mac for successfully putting it into practice. Speaking of walks....Austin Slater has 21 and 25 K's in 91 PA's.  Cats had more walks(10) than hits(8) in this game.  AAA phase Rule 5 Draft pickup, Sam Moll, is looking like a potential LHP relief option down the road.  Nice to see him going multiple innings.

Are the Giants stretching out Melvin Adon again?  Guys who can maintain high 90's velocity deep into games aren't a dime a dozen, even these days.

Simpson and Gustave make their 2019 season debuts.  Simpson was drafted out of JC ball in 2013 and has put up high K and walk rates so far in his career.  Gustave was signed as a minor league FA in the offseason out of the Astros organization.  He is coming off TJ surgery.
