  1. Reynolds had 3 RBI on the night as well. Really liking what he and Quinn have put together thus far, could be huge additions to the upper tiers within 2 years.

Doc or any of our other knowledgeable posters - Do you know what the mark is on Reynolds's CF defense? Is he an average or a plus tool out there? Arm?

If he can put together a Belt/Duffy-like offensive game with strong CF defense, that's a massive piece for the Giants.

Just gotta wait out this current slump on the big league squad.. They'll come out of it.

    1. Several scouting reports I've read all say pretty much the same thing about Reynolds. He has average to above average speed that plays up in CF due to excellent first step quickness and good reads on the ball. His arm is average at best and would probably have to play LF if he loses a step and can't cover CF.

  2. Right on. That definitely sounds like a dWAR-upside defensive report, which would be an amazing asset for a kid who may be able to hit at the top or the middle of the order. Look forward to following Bryan's career!

  3. Which, oddly, makes me miss Matt Duffy, who's career we all enjoyed following!
