Austin Slater is going to hate leaving Reno!  A QS by Blackburn in a rough place to pitch.  Okert has 4 consecutive scoreless appearances with 8 K's against 0 BB's in 4.2 IP.

Minor League Baseball announced that the Bakersfield and High Desert franchises will be contracted out of the California League.  There will be 2 new affiliates in the Carolina League and the Cal League will have just 8 teams.  It may mean more traveling for the SJ Giants, but maybe we'll get to see them down in SoCal more often?
