Madison Bumgarner- 8 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 7 K's. ERA= 2.20. Bumgarner was coming off his worst start of the season and one of the 4 worst starts of his career. You can't pitch much better than this line, but it wasn't enough. Wilson Ramos' solo HR in the 7'th was the difference in the games. Bummed!

The Giants move on to Miami where Johnny Cueto has to face Jose Fernandez in Game 1 tomorrow. Fernandez has not been as sharp in his last 7 starts with a 3.89 ERA over that span.
