"When the Giants Come to Town..." is my blog intended to chronicle my thoughts on San Francisco Giants baseball. My special interest is in prospects and the farm system, but of course, will comment on all aspects of the San Francisco Giants. I will also comment on baseball in general, particularly from a fantasy baseball perspective. I hope you will find the site informative, and invite you to join in the discussion.
is this your way of saying that you are shocked and disgusted by today's performance?
ReplyDeletei am a bit disturbed
there is something wrong either mechanically/mentally with tim...or its physical
either way...they better figure it out soon...or might as well put him on the dl..cuz its silly to keep sending him out to get pounded
and a lifeline gets thrown to zito???? insane
as for the offense...way to make midlevel pitchers look great
dont know what they talked about at the hitters meeting....but if it was getting more aggressive and dont work the count...its worked...they all look like drek
No, I just hit the wrong button. I fell asleep during the game and when I woke up I figured my time would be better spent working on the draft post.
ReplyDeleteI just think Timmy's mechanics are screwed up again. Maybe he's on the outs with dad again? (Shrugs). Maybe he and Whitey aren't on the same page? IDK. He found his way out of it last year so I'll keep the faith that he can again.
someone has gotten a little crrraaaazzzzyyyyy! Chill, it's baseball, albeit Giant's baseball. Step away from the ledge.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is another day. The world is not going to end - that happens on October 21st!
i left the game when it was 7-0
ReplyDeletesomeone messed with crawford...he was swinging at first pitches...methinks he spoke to shawon...that is his style
timmy says its mechanics, that he feels good
im dumb...so i dont know
bothers me that whitey seemed to be constantly crossed up behind the dish
Agreed Dr B, agreed.
ReplyDeleteOne game out of 162, and the hitters probably were over aggressive feeling like they each have to make up for Posey and now Sanchez's absense in lineup. At least they didn't waste any runs on this lousy outing by Lincecum.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he could have compensated for being pushed to 130+ pitches and fell out of whack with his delivery. Could that possibly happen?
People complain about the offense but I don't see why bother. When you have three of your best hitters out on the DL, most team's offense will have huge ups and downs, that's just the way it works. And I'm not willing to sacrifice the future in order to get a bat this season, in fact, I think the offense should be fine enough if Sandoval returns and hit like he did earlier. Fine enough as in winning enough to win the division.
Panikc signed! According to Baggarly, around slot ($1.1M). Will report to Salem-Keizer, on Friday per Schulman. He kept to what he said in his post-draft interview with a local newspaper of his, saying that he wanted to sign soon and get his pro career started. Love him already!
