  1. BTW, Wander Franco has played for San Jose all season and played quite well. Now there is a Wander Franco playing for Salem-Keizer which left me very confused. Turns out they are two different guys and are brothers! Wander Franco(SJ) is 23 yo and Wander Franco is 21 yo. They have another brother named Wander Franco and their father is....you guessed it....Wander Franco.

    1. The SJ version had an 0fer at Lancaster last night. Other than that, a nice showing by the Giants at the all star game. Talk of Logan Webb being the Giants best picking prospect.

  2. Another way to tell them apart: They have different middle names. Wander Javier Franco plays for SJ. Wander Alexander Franco plays for S-K.

    1. They didn't come up on the Giants organizational scores but it looks like they lost to the D'Backs 1-0:

Patrick Hilson went 1 for 3, BB. Seth Corry pitched 3 shutout innings with 4 K's and 2 BB's.

Giants Orange plays against Giants Black today.

I guess I'll have to go into the league scores to make sure I get both teams if they aren't going to put Giants Orange into the organizational scores list.

  5. Ryder Jones (24) is having a good season: 13-36 .361 last 9 games, 17-58 .293 June.
Does he have enough pop to play a corner?

    1. 104 wRC+. He’s heating up a bit, but still not a good season.

    2. IMHO, Ryder Jones is going to need a breakout in a much bigger way than this. To me he was always riding the organizational ladder, and right now he's clearly AAAA.

  6. I heard reports Joey Bart will head to AZL to warmup and then be assigned to Salem-Keizer
