DSL Giants trounced the Royals 10-1:
Robinson Batista RF- 0 for 4, 2 BB, SB(1). BA= .000.
Samuel Jorge DH- 2 for 5, 2B, BB. BA= .400.
Ismael Alcantara 1B- 3 for 4, 2B, BB. BA= .750.
Ghordy Santos SS- 0 for 1, 3 BB, SB(1). BA= .000.
Juan Sanchez LHP- 5 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 7 K's. ERA= 1.80.
Yovanny Moronta RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 0.00.
Alcantara and Santos were both $300 K bonus babies from last year. Alcantara appeared in just 1 game at the beginning of last season before disappearing, presumably due to injury. Santos started extremely slowly last year before coming on strong in August. Juan Sanchez is a 17 yo from the 2017 signing period with a dominant 5 inning start. When I see the name Juan Sanchez, I can't help but think of another international pitcher named Juan Antonio Marichal Sanchez.
