Tim Fedorowicz C- 3 for 5. BA= .326.

Matt Reynolds LHP- 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 1.29.
Kyle Crick RHP- 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K. ERA= 3.00.
The Kelby/Slater show rolls on and now Chris Shaw is joining the party. Seems like Fedex would be just fine as a backup catcher in case some team out there wants to acquire Nick Hundley for a lottery ticket type prospect.

AA Harrisburg Senators blanked the Richmond Flying Squirrels 1-0:
Jose Flores RHP- 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K's. ERA= 1.01.
Rodolfo Martinez RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K. ERA= 5.63.
Flores has been kicking around the minors for a long time, so unless he's found a new pitch, don't expect this to continue. Martinez seems to have found whatever left him at mid-season last year.

Garcia is back behind the plate.

At this point, who would you rather watch flail though losing games alongside the Giant all star infield and catcher:

or Aaron Hill, Justin Ruggiano, Nick Hundley, Gorkys Hernandez, Mike Morse, and Drew Stubbs?
Put Eduardo Núñez, Hunter Pence, and Denard Span in either group.
There is a fine line between letting a young player gain experience and crushing their confidence. If a young player is overmatched it can be beneficial to go down to AAA, work on the holes in their game and get some confidence back.
