Heathcott is batting .400 last 10 games, 40 ABs. He, Shaw, and Gomez are really flying squirrels!
ReplyDeleteSan Jose has an interesting lineup. If arenado and vizcaino wake up, they could have a potent 1-8.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doc again for your blog. One of the first sites I go to in the morning. Its a real treat for this displaced Giants fan. That said....Quinn is back!!! Reynolds and Brusa making more contact. Heathcott's emergence is lessening the blow of Duggar's injury. Giants have a lot of outfield prospects in the system. Had to look up Wilmer Font of the Dodgers because I thought " Man, don't tell me they have another young ace coming up.". I'll give him credit. He pitched great. But he is a 27 year old journeyman who pitched in the Canadian League last season, so I am not too worried. I was surprised to see how could Richmond's bullpen had been performing. Alvarado, Snelten, Moronta, Flores and Cyr ( With the exception of his first outing.) have been borderline dominate and putting together great seasons.
ReplyDeleteChris Shaw makes 6th straight start in LF and has 150 wRC+. That bodes well.
