  1. Sac led 6-1 going into the 9th inning, at home, when the wheels came off.
Ryan Webb and Roberto Gomez gave up 6 runs, all earned, including a 2-out grand slam!
Regarding Mac, he played most of Spring Training through late March and was hitting very well. He was off 3-4 weeks before playing, now, 15 games & 58 ABs for the River Cats.
    How many does it take?
The SF OF is broken -- it needs a fire, at least a spark, maybe just a candle.
Of course the FO knows what they're doing, and "the season is long," but -- news flash -- the hole is getting deeper and the mentality must be deteriorating.
This has a way of growing on the psysche, the human spirit can only take so much.
The season is getting out of hand!
    DO SOMETHING!

  2. Looks like the Giants better get ready to sell. Might be a good thing to see what Mac, Ryder, Slater, Beede and others can do. Remember one year they did this and found Bill Mueller can play. Maybe they can get a couple of good young players for Cueto and Nunez to help replenish farm system. Don't think they have to completely blow it up, but it might help to get a little younger in certain areas. I'd be a little concerned though as to whether an inexperienced GM like Bobby Evans can handle even a 1 year rebuild.
