Giant-itis all the way down!
ReplyDeleteNot much scoring from top to bottom.
Maybe it's time to give Jae-Gyun Hwang a shot.
Big Mac isn't doing well either -- 5-27 but he does have 5 RBIs in few ABs. Was his dinger a grand slam?
Of course the FO knows what they're doing (?), but Stubbs? He's never hit particularly well, including this year at Sacramento. His best year was 2014 -- IN COLORADO! Who in the world expected anything from him? A resurrection at 32 (and a half)? That's just a prayer, not remotely realistic! A first-rounder who hasn't done anything for 11 professional years is unlikely for a rebirth!
Austin Slater is a better bet than Drew Stubbs!
Why not roll the dice with someone who IS hitting, like Moncrief? Or, the aforementioned Hwang.
One more thing -- oh, never mind!
Yes, his dinger was a grand slam.
