The Giants got back to their winning ways scoring a run in the top of the 9'th inning to break a 4-4 tie. Key lines:
Freddy Sanchez- 2 for 4, HR(2). BA= .290. Is The Mole becoming a power hitter? Maybe he's taking hitting lessons from Andres Torres.
Aubrey Huff- 2 for 4, 2B, HR(3). BA= .351. Huff Daddy is on fire!
Travis Ishikawa- 1 for 1, 2B. BA= .250. Travis has not had a lot of AB's this spring.
Madison Bumgarner- 4 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 6 K's. ERA= 3.60. Love the K's. The rest of the line is OK.
The W runs the Giants spring record to 15-5. Tim Lincecum will take the mound against Mark Buehrle and the Chicago White Sox in Glendale, AZ tomorrow

Doc,
ReplyDeleteAny chance we can find a taker for TI so we will not have to cut him? He is a quality defensive 1B, can start on a lower-tier team, and can be a top flight pinch hitter. You gotta think SOMEONE wants a guy like that...
I think it would be nice to trade TI to the Mariners, seeing that he grew up in Seattle.. Although the Mariners got Justin Smoak, TI isn't bad to have as a backup.
ReplyDeleteti is a solid ball player
ReplyDeletewhile belt makes him expendable, i would much prefer that they dump rowand, and hold onto ti, until belt is ready to come up
by the end of may, there may be more options for a trade
Seattle is a possibility for TI. They like defense up there and Smoak is no sure thing. Billy Beane is obsessed with defense these days, although what Billy Beane is obsessed with seems to change from year to year. He might be a fit in San Diego. Then there's always Agent Ned.....
