  1. In SAC, you gotta hope Matos and McRAY have a good end of the season and maybe a recall when the Giants are out of it. .Ditto for Meckler and Pomares/Berricoto in Richmond.. ELDRIDGE hanging in there as he moved up to High A. Power not there yet, but it will. I guess the guy from the Braves trade will join him there in a pretty weak Emeralds lineup

  2. Jerar Encarnación's July numbers could not be better in relatively SSS: .382/.461/.658
    For the season, 141 PA's: .350/.440/.600/1.040, 30 K's, 18 W's
He leads what's left in Sacramento with Fitzgerald, Ramos, Schmitt, Villar, Luciano, Wisely, and sometimes Matos, all promoted. He also leads Trenton Brooks who got in 12 MLB games.
But he's not on the 40-man...

    1. Jerar Encarnación is 26 yo, same age as Fitzgerald and younger than Villar. He's worked his way up, improving at each level after slow starts. Didn't get a 2nd look after bombing with the Marlins in 2022. After washing out and playing in Mexico, Giants spotted him whacking away for the 2024 Guerreros de Oaxaca.
      Sleeper?
Homers and strikeouts: Dave Kingman anyone?
      442 HR's 1816 K's

    2. I am all in on giving Jerar a shot. He is crushing it at AAA. I think they should have traded Conforto and promoted Encarnación.
