If you are looking for reasons to not fire Farhan, I would put the large number of young position players performing well in the DSL. This is a prerequisite to farm system the consistently produces contributing and even star players like the Dodgers.

Is there any projection that indicates Grant McCray becoming a successful major leaguer?
ReplyDeleteMcCray has 5 plus tools, was very raw when drafted out of HS and has been slow to develop. He's always been a project with a wide variance in outcomes. There are many examples of players like him becoming successful major leaguers, though.
DeleteThanks.
DeleteFitzgerald has "saved" the 2019 draft although there is still hope for McCray and a couple of pitchers (McDonald and Wright- fading) down draft.
Maybe there's still hope for Hunter Bishop...
Camacho is an 80 grade name
