    1. Luciano and McCray had 5 walks combined. Matos was less impressive

  2. Sorry about the post above..doesn't belong here...

More relevant, does anybody know the severity of the injuries to Crawford, WHisenhunt, Sinacola and Dabovich? All significant parts of the organization and all have been on the IL for awhile even if it is the 7-day IL...

Speaking of Whisenhunt, no denying he has equal or better stuff than Birdsong, yet can't master the PCL while Birdsong is killing it in the Majors..Shows there is much more than stuff and the mental game and pitching thought process is so key.

  3. I fear that the sweep of the hapless (when on the road) Rockies, who usually lose in San Francisco, will create irrational, exuberance, and cause management to look to buy instead of sell.

Still, even I do not want to give away quality assets for nothing. If the Giants can get, say, Coby Mayo, in a package involving Snell, I am all for it. Or maybe Dominguez from the Yankees. Short of that, it would be hard to move Snell, for me.

I would like to move on from Conforto, Estrada, Flores (to the injured list for the season, he apparently has knee tendinitis and so will pick up his 3.5 option for next year), Jackson. I do not expect much return for any of these, but would prefer to let younger players step in. But if a major acquisition could be had, I would let go of Doval.
