AAA  Reno Aces downed the Fresno Grizzlies 7-4:

Adam Duvall(1B)- 2 for 5, 2B.  BA= .304.
Chris Dominguez(SS)- 4 for 5, HR(17).  BA= .276.
Gary Brown(CF)- 0 for 3, BB, SB(24.  BA= .265

I continue to be intrigued by the possibilities of Chris Dominguez playing SS.

AA  Altoona Curve defeated the Richmond Flying Squirrels 7-3:

NTSH.  Newcomers Elliott Blair and Blake Miller DNP.

High A  San Jose Giants beat the Stockton Ports 5-3:

Mitch Delfino- 2 for 4.  BA=  .286.
Tyler Horan(LF)- 2 for 2, 2 BB, SB(1).  BA= 1.000.
Nick Vander Tuig(RHP)- 5 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 2 K's, GO/AO= 7/1.  ERA= 3.60.

Horan makes a successful High A debut.  Vander Tuig seems to be settling in as a pro of late.

Low A  Augusta Greenjackets blanked the Kannapolis Intimidators 5-0:

Ty Ross(Catcher)- 2 for 3, BB.  BA= .252.
Rafael Rodriguez(LF)- 1 for 2, HR(5), BB, HBP.  BA= .256.
Rando Moreno(SS)- 2 for 4, SB(11).  BA= .207.
Chase Johnson(RHP)- 6 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 0.00.
Ray Black(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 4.44

Ross has a 5 game hit streak in which he is 8 for 17.  He is hitting .286 over his last 10 games.  There was some concern about Ray Black missing his regular every 3'rd day appearance.  It game 1 game later and he looks OK from the line.  He reportedly hit triple digits twice in his last rough outing.

Short Season  Tri-Cities Dust Devils topped the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 5-4 in 10 innings:

Austin Slater(RF)- 3 for 4, BB.  BA= .500.
Seth Harrison(CF)- 1 for 4, BB, SB(4).  BA= .250
Ethan Miller(RHP)- 6 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 4.19.

Miller has 4 QS in a row in which he has allowed 4 ER in 26 IP for an ERA of 1.39 with 5 BB, and 17 K's.

Rookie AZL  Giants were idle.

DSL  Giants pounded the Rockies 9-1:

Prebito Reyes(LHP, 18 yo)- 6 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 4.03.
