  1. At The Doctor(Or anyone else.) What are your thoughts on the international prospect CF Luis Robert. MLB reports that Robert, who has established residency in Haiti, was cleared to sign before June 15 means several teams who exceeded their 2016-17 bonus pool remain in play to sign him. That includes the A's, Astros, Braves, Cardinals, Nationals, Padres and Reds. Those teams would have to sign Robert before the international signing period starts again on July 2, because once that date hits, they can no longer sign prospects for more than $300,000 per player. Robert is expected to command a multiyear, multimillion-dollar contract. Do you think the Giants throw their hat in the ring? Duggar and Reynolds are really the only options in the farm system and even though neither is a certain lock to stay there in the bigs. I myself am doubtful they make a strong push, even though I would be happy if the Giants got him.

    1. The Giants are limited to $300 K per player because of the Lucius Fox signing so I don't expect them to get anywhere close to Robert.
