They are the lowest rung of the full season minor leagues, A or Low A depending on your nomenclature of choice. Here's the roster:
Pitchers: Melvin Adon RHP, Cameron Avila-Leeper LHP, Caleb Baragar LHP, Alex Bostic LHP, Jeff Burke RHP, Sandro Cabrera LHP, Dominic Mazza LHP, Jose Morel RHP, DJ Myers RHP, Matt Pope RHP, Nolan Riggs RHP, Patrick Ruotolo RHP, Matt Solter RHP, Stephen Woods RHP, Cesar Yanez RHP.
Catchers: Will Albertson, Zach Bowers, Skyler Ewing.
Infielders: Kelvin Beltre 3B, Tyler Brown SS, Manuel Geraldo 3B, Ryan Kirby 1B, Kevin Rivera 2B, Brandon Van Horn SS.
Outfielders: Shawon Dunston Jr., Sandro Fabian, Ashford Fulmer, Jacob Heyward, Anthony Marks.
The Giants often use tandem starters early in the low A season. Potential SP's include Adon, Baragar, Bostic, Cabrera, Mazza, Myers, Woods. I'll guess Ruotolo is the Closer.
Skyler Ewing, who both caught and played 1B on college is listed as a catcher. It's unclear who will be the main catcher or if it will be more or less equally divided between the 3.
It will be interesting to see how playing time is divided among the IF's.
Fabian is probably the biggest name to watch. Giants are challenging him big time by assigning him to Augusta. Jacob Heyward is a name to watch also. Anthony Marks is a speed/CF type sighned as an undrafted FA out of Coastal Carolina.
