Go Ricky!  I believe this is his best game as a pro so far.  He is hitting .366 over his last 10 games with 3 HR's in his last 3 games.  Joe Panik seems to have broken out of his slump.  Like the K's in Sandbrink's line.  Is Jose Valdez the closer for SJ now?

  1. It's my impression that Buechele's hits usually come in bunches. He tends to be streaky, so far in his young career. Maybe I am not recallying it accurately. In any case, for any hitter (or pitcher), steady performance against a variety of pitchers should be preferred over concentrated hits, where, but not always, they might have resulted from going against a particular weak pitcher or in a hitting friendly environment.

    1. Agree Buechele seems streaky, but let's see how it plays out. Another factor for him is he is really playing at too low a level for his age and college experience.
