We waited in line for 30 min before the gates opened which is pretty stupid if you think about it. We have reserved seats and probably could have strolled in about 10 min after they opened.
Pablo Sandoval is never going to be thin, but I think he looks terrific. Reports of wt gain have been exaggerated.
Brett Pill was particularly impressive in BP. He was hitting seeds all over the field.
Brandon Crawford and Freddy Sanchez were giving the ball a ride with some regularity.
Buster looked like he needs more reps to get his timing and stroke down, but you can see that he has a definite plan up there.
Just seeing Buster out on the field makes you feel optimistic about the season. Great to see him walk out with his gear to warm up Surkamp.
