Jerar Encarnacion was tearing up the Mexican league earlier this year and the Giants signed him to a minor league deal about a month ago. He is listed as 6'4" and 250 lbs. He bats and throws right handed. He had a cup of coffee in the Big leagues with Miami in 2022: in 77 At bats he hit 3 home runs and struck out 32 times. APGiantsfan

Jonah Cox (22 yo) and Bryce Eldridge (19) lead SJ in almost every offensive category (including K's).
ReplyDeleteBoth were drafted in 2023, Eldridge was picked 16th, Cox from college by the A's in the 6th round who traded him for Stripling. He's slightly old for A ball. He has 38 SB's & 3 CS and a OBP of .427
