  1. How bout Grant McCray being called up from RICHMOND?..I know he has straightened himself out after his usual rough start, but seems a tad aggressive...Unless it's a temporary thing...or maybe the Giants just see somehting or want to test him..

Another interesting thing is LUCIANO being played at 2B...will the giants give up on him as a SS and can that be his future home?

RENO is indeed a hotters paradise but the Giants sure have some young hitters in the AA that, at best, are ready for the show or , at worst, not much to develop in SAC in MATOS, FITZ, LUCIANO (except fielding) ...

How the Giants play the next month, and how much of a PO contender they look like (or a seller at the Deadline), will sure play a role in play time and call up decisions in the second half of the year (as will injuries, of course).

Eldridge might just be the second best hitter in the CAL league right now (and best 1B) and DIaz sur as hack looking as he will get tested in San Jose later in the year..Both under 19.

Good outing from McDOnald, rounding into his form of last year...LIkely see him in RICHMOND soon..Big hole to fill with Birdsong being moved up to SAC.

Anybody know anything about ROUP's injury???
